Imodium Instants is a form of treatment for the relief of diarrhoea. These tablets can be used for 2 types of diarrhoea, short-term diarrhoea and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) diarrhoea. The active ingredient in these tablets is loperamide. Loperamide is a drug that works by slowing down bowel movements, which allows for more water to be absorbed into the body that has been lost as a result of diarrhoea.
